Yiling Lu, a US-China based interdisciplinary artist, explores the intricate relationship between moving images and our perception of reality as a film director. A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Yiling utilizes a diverse array of mediums including performance, photography, film/video, sound, hologram, and installation to create immersive experiences that challenge societal norms and provoke sensory exploration. Her work exemplifies a dedication to storytelling and the seamless integration of traditional and innovative techniques. Yiling's films have earned multiple awards at international film festivals. Her work embodies the deconstruction and reimagining of traditional narrative techniques, inviting audiences to explore the dynamic interplay between creator and viewer, culture and individuality, within the ever-evolving contemporary landscape.
